Youth Group

A Place for Teens to Grow, Ask, and Belong

The middle and high school years bring big questions, busy schedules, and new independence. Youth ministry at Christ on the Mountain gives young people in grades 6 through 12 a place to bring their real lives, grow in faith, and build friendships rooted in something more lasting.

All teenagers are welcome, whether or not they are members of Christ on the Mountain, Catholic, or Christian. Teens do not need to be experts in the faith to come. They are welcome to show up, get to know people, ask questions, and take part at their own pace.

Faith and Friendship for Grades 6 Through 12

Youth group brings middle and high school students together for prayer, conversation, service, recreation, and opportunities to learn about the Catholic faith. It is a space where teens can be themselves while discovering how faith speaks to school, family, friendships, decisions, and the world around them.

Youth group generally meets on Wednesdays throughout the year, though special events may take place on other days. Check the bulletin or youth ministry calendar for current dates, registration, and details.

Put Faith Into Practice

Young people are invited to take part in the larger life of the parish, including worship, service, and fellowship. Youth choir, serving as a reader, and leading prayer are meaningful ways to help at Mass. The monthly Soup Kitchen is a concrete way for teens to help care for neighbors in need.

If your teen is preparing for Confirmation or another sacrament, the faith-formation office can help your family understand the next steps.
