We are sorry for your loss. Grief can make even ordinary decisions feel difficult. Christ on the Mountain is here to pray with you and help your family prepare a funeral that honors your loved one and places them in God’s care.

At a Catholic funeral, we entrust the person who has died to God’s mercy and proclaim our hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The funeral liturgy gives family and friends a place to pray, grieve, remember, and ask God to receive their loved one into eternal life. We will help you with the practical choices for the liturgy, including readings and music.

The Church does not ask a grieving family to set sorrow aside. We bring our grief honestly to God and place it within the promise that death does not have the final word. Scripture, prayer, music, and the celebration of the Eucharist help us remember God’s faithfulness and commend the person who has died to his loving care.
