Renewing Our Spiritual Home

For 50 years, our parish has been a place where people encounter Christ through the Eucharist, grow in faith and find a welcoming parish family. As we consider how best to care for this sacred place, parish leaders have been reviewing the long-range needs of our church and campus.

The Needs We Have Identified

Through that process, we have identified four priorities that will protect our facilities, renew our space and preserve our parish home for generations to come:

  • Repair and restore the church exterior, including aging windows and damaged stucco.

  • Replace the baptismal font and renovate the foyer to create a more welcoming gathering space.

  • Upgrade technology infrastructure and building security.

  • Establish a maintenance reserve fund to address future repairs responsibly.

We Want to Hear From You

Before moving forward, we want to hear from you. We will conduct a planning study beginning September 14, including a survey of the entire parish community.

Each household should receive a letter in the mail, along with a fact sheet about the projects, that details how you can provide feedback - through a paper survey, online survey or interview. We want you to tell us which projects you feel are the most important for Christ on the Mountain’s future, and we want to gauge support for a potential major fundraising effort for the projects.

We are relying on the participation of our entire community in the planning study and urge you to share your opinions on the projects. The more feedback we receive, the more informed our parish leaders will be as they make decisions on our next steps.
