Faith Formation & Spiritual Life
Faith takes root when we make room to pray, learn, and listen for God in the middle of ordinary life. Christ on the Mountain offers ways for people of every age to grow in the Catholic faith and to find encouragement from others along the way.
You are welcome to begin simply. Come to Mass, join a study when one is offered, spend time in quiet prayer, or ask a question about where to start.
Ways to Grow
Learn and Pray with Others
Formation and spiritual-life opportunities may include adult studies, Scripture reflection, sacramental preparation, family prayer, the rosary, Eucharistic Adoration, and other seasonal opportunities. Eucharistic Adoration is quiet prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.
The current bulletin is the best place to see what is being offered now.
Share What You Have Received
Some people are called to help children, teens, and families grow in faith. The legacy ministry roster includes religious-education substitutes, Children’s Liturgy of the Word leaders, Vacation Bible School volunteers, youth-group volunteers, snack providers, drivers and chaperones, and marriage-preparation teams.
Formation for Every Age
Faith formation looks different at each stage of life. Children can begin to know God and prepare for the sacraments. Teens can bring their questions, friendships, and daily lives into a growing relationship with Christ. Adults can continue learning, praying, and reflecting on the faith.
Choose the path that fits you or your family. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin.
